Eugene Hivedev
Eugene Hivedev builds and runs liqsiren, and wrote the liquidation tape it is built on. The work is mechanical rather than directional: recording what venues actually do when a position is closed out, reading the margin parameters off the venues' own endpoints, and keeping the arithmetic on this site identical to the arithmetic that fires the alerts. He publishes the coverage gaps in that data as readily as the data, because a liquidation number without its methodology is a rumour.
what that is based on
- Wrote perptape, the collector behind this site: forced-liquidation events from the Binance, Bybit and Hyperliquid websockets and the OKX REST liquidation endpoint, funding rates and open interest across six venues (Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, Hyperliquid, Aster), and 1-minute mark-price OHLC — into TimescaleDB, archived nightly as Parquet.
- Maintains the maintenance-margin bracket tables these articles cite, read from Binance's bracket API and Bybit's v5 risk-limit endpoint and re-verified on 2026-09-19 rather than copied from another site.
- Keeps the browser-side liquidation math pinned to the server-side evaluator by 1,497 parity vectors, so the liq price an article works through is the price the alarm fires at.
- Publishes the would-have-alerted audit: cluster predictions resolved against the recorded tape within 24 hours, hit rate and misses both.
- Documents what the data cannot support — a throttled Binance forced-order stream, Hyperliquid rows reconstructed by heuristic, OKX liquidations only from 2026-09-23 and none before it — as part of the record.
how to correct something here
Every article carries a last-verified date and the endpoint its numbers came from, because venue parameters move and a stale bracket table is worse than no table. If a figure is wrong or a parameter has changed, say so at @ehivedev on Telegram. Corrections are dated on the page rather than edited in quietly.
The resolved scorecard for the cluster predictions — hits and misses both — is public on the would-have-alerted audit.
