Worldcoin Margin Call & Liq Alert on OKX
a $1,000 Worldcoin long at $0.5177 and 25x on OKX hits its margin call at $0.5022 — 3.00% of room, $0.0155.
how it's computed
on usdt-m perps the call and the liquidation are the same price; OKX's real bracket (1.00% mmr) sets it, not a flat guess.
- margin at 25x
- $40
- mmr at this size
- 1.00%
- bracket max leverage
- 50x
- funding if held 24h
- $0.60
alert at $0.5098
if the wick tags $0.5022, the ~$40 of margin on this position is gone. the scream is free.
free: 2 alerts, no card · unlimited + night mode $9/mo — one wick costs more
the short version
- a $1,000 WLD long at 25x on OKX hits its margin call at $0.5022 — the same price as liquidation, 3.00% below entry.
- before that price you can close, add margin (doubling the $40 posted moves the call to $0.4815), or hold on purpose.
- set the alert at about half the room (1.5%), so the warning arrives while all three are still open.
how to use this tool
type an entry, drag the leverage, pick a side. the number above is where your margin call fires on a usdt-m perp — which, honestly, is the liquidation price: same formula, same event. computed with the venue's real maintenance-margin brackets, and the scream arms below.
there is no separate margin call on a perp
on a perp the margin call is the liquidation: one price, no deadline, and nobody calls you first.

a stock margin call is a warning with a deadline. a perp never asks: when equity drops under maintenance margin the engine force-closes at liq = entry × (1 − 1/leverage + mmr) for a long — with OKX's real WLD bracket, 1.00% at the first step.
so the call price is where the decision stops being yours. above it you still choose: close, add margin, or hold.

you're long WLD at $0.5177, 25x, $1,000 notional — $40 of margin posted. OKX charges 1.00% maintenance margin at that size: $0.5177 × (1 − 1/25 + 0.01) = $0.5022.
there is no earlier call: that price is both the warning and the event. your room is $0.0155 (3.00%), and funding — $0.60 a day at the example rate — spends it while you hold. estimate — exchanges compute exact liq from live margin; always double-check on your venue.
OKX's WLD margin brackets, in words
the maintenance rate is the only part of the call price you don't choose — and it grows with size.

okx prices WLD in brackets: the first runs to $50,448 notional at 1.00% maintenance margin and 50x max. clear it and the next runs to $105,100 at 1.50% and 40x.
this page stores OKX's first 5 brackets for WLD and holds the last rate flat past them — check very large sizes on the venue itself.
okx's liquidation feed publishes a bankruptcy price on every forced close, so the tape on this site shows where accounts actually died, not where an engine estimated it. the book behind it is deep enough that the difference rarely matters.
Worldcoin specifics
leave room for Worldcoin's normal wick, not its average day.

worldcoin sits still, then moves: a 11.8% day on only 6.7% of minute-to-minute movement, so the range arrives in a few candles rather than accumulating. $22M across 5497 forced closes in 7 days, none over 3% of it: attrition, not one event, 68% of it liquidated longs.
isolated or cross — where your call actually sits
isolated: the call price is fixed when you open. cross: it floats with your whole wallet.

on isolated margin the position's own margin is the whole buffer, so entry, leverage and bracket fix the call price — every number on this page is that case.
on cross the wallet backs the position, so the line moves with your balance and your other positions, and a cross call can take the whole wallet. treat the isolated number as the closest the engine could reach you.
your three options when the warning fires
close at a real price, add margin to push the call away, or hold on purpose.
- closeexit at a real price while the book is still there.
- add margindoubling the $40 posted moves the call from $0.5022 to $0.4815.
- hold on purposeaccept the wick as part of the plan, with the size built for it.

close: before the call you exit at a real price; at the call you fill into the wick, plus the venue's liquidation fee.
add margin: more collateral lowers the effective leverage and pushes the call away — and puts more on the table if the wick gets there anyway.
hold, knowingly: fine when the wick is part of the plan and the size was built for it. the alert below makes sure the warning reaches you while all three are still open. free, no signup.
binance vs bybit vs hyperliquid vs okx for this coin
same position, different venue, different call price: the lower maintenance rate at your size is free room.

on WLD the first bracket is not the same trade on every venue: bybit runs 0.80% to $40,000 at 50x, hyperliquid 5.00% to $20,000,000 at 10x. bybit is the cheaper first bracket by 4.20% of entry on the same position.

faq
what is a margin call in crypto?
the borrowed-money version from stock trading: your collateral no longer covers the position, so the broker demands more or sells you out. on usdt-m crypto perps the demand part doesn't exist — the exchange force-closes the moment your equity hits maintenance margin. so on perps, 'margin call price' and 'liquidation price' are the same number, and this page computes it.
is a margin call price different from a liquidation price?
not on usdt-m perps. some tools show a 'call' level well above the liquidation price as if the venue warns you there — venues don't. the engine liquidates at maintenance margin, full stop. the honest margin-call price is the liquidation price, computed here with the venue's real MMR brackets, and the alert fires while you can still act on it.
how do i avoid a margin call?
you don't prevent it, you budget for it: lower leverage puts the call further away, a smaller position means a smaller loss when it fires, and a stop close before the line beats a forced fill after it. adding margin mid-trade pushes the line away but puts more money in front of the same wick. the calculator above exists to make the distance a number you chose, not a surprise you discover.
how much margin do i need to add to move the call price?
posting the same margin again roughly doubles the distance between the mark and the call — doubling margin halves effective leverage, and the 1/leverage half of the room doubles. it's postponement, not prevention: a cascade that reaches the old line often reaches the new one too. size and leverage before entry are what actually set the odds.
does a margin call wipe my whole account?
on isolated margin, no — you lose the position's collateral and the position ends there. on cross margin, it can: the wallet backs the position, so the forced close walks through your balance, including unrealised profit from other positions. that's the trade you accepted when you picked cross — and why the isolated call price should be read as the floor under your room, not the room itself.
can i get an alert before price reaches my margin call price?
yes — that's the product. under the number there's an alert gate: set the distance (e.g. scream at me when 25% of my room is left) and pick telegram, web push, or email. free tier is 2 active alerts, no card, no api keys. the venue's own 'alert' is the liquidation itself; this one arrives while you still have options.
